In operation for over 16 years, Australian Good Food Guide multi-award winner, Machan Indian Restaurant, opened it’s doors to Indian food lovers on June 8, 2003.
At Machan, we have set the reputation for being a local favourite in the heart of Eltham. Machan offers an array of classic traditional Indian curries that carry worldwide recognition, evident in its signature dishes such as the sizzling tandoori platter, home-made samosas, chicken khurchan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, pan-fried prawns, tawa fish, seafood malbari, korma’s, bhoona beef, madras curries, malai kofta, palak paneer, pumpkin masala and various vegan delights. Machan was one of the first to offer gluten-free naan. All meals are made with natural and fresh ingredients that are sourced locally.
